Getting Hooked on Chiropractic

One of the more common questions I get during a new patient interview is

                    "  I want to go to a Chiropractor for my back pain but I don't want to be one of those people that get hooked on it and has to go the rest of their lives"

I have often wondered how many people have not undergone Chiropractic care because of that same fear.

My stock answer is....( jokingly ).....So far I have never tied anyone down and made them come back and to my knowledge I have never had a patient say " darn, I wish I had never started going to the Chiropractor because now I can't stop"

Just because they call it crack, does not mean it's addictive.

Chiropractic is a full healthcare system that works with your bodies own natural abilities to balance the nervous system and therefor help with the communication between the different systems of the body, keeping you healthy.

Chiropractic adjustments will not make your spine any more likely to need to be adjusted, it actually works to stabilize the vertebrae into their proper position therefor helping to stop degeneration and arthritis as we get older and again keeping us healthier by allowing the body to communicate with itself and therefor stay healthier.

People that make Chiropractic a part of their health care decisions are those that have seen the benefits and are not willing to watch their spines degenerate as they age. Going to a Chiropractor will never make you need adjustments more, you will just see how good you feel and will not settle for less.

So going to a Chiropractor will never mean you have to go to a Chiropractor but most people who go to a Chiropractor enjoy the benefits and make the decision to make it a part of their lives.
